Wrangell's Rink

The community of Wrangell has overwhelmingly requested the return of the roller skating rink to service. The roller skating rink holds many favorable memories within the community and provides much-needed hope. The roller skating rink is the "touchpoint" of TPA's community outreach by providing family-friendly activities in a Christian environment.

Early Childhood Education

Currently, Wrangell does not have any licensed daycare providers or childcare centers. All daycare for children birth through 4 years old is provided by small in-home providers (those serving less than four children) or relatives. TPA would like to expand or add capacity for early childhood education and childcare services for long-range plans. In the interim, TPA will provide a tot gym program using the roller skating rink. The tot gym program will provide healthy activities, respite for daycare providers, community engagement and outreach.

Education

Wrangell has a significant population of those who homeschool their children for religious reasons and are desirous of a Christian education academy. TPA has long-range plans for a Christian education academy for grades K-8. In the interim, TPA will assist the homeschool community by developing a homeschool cooperative.
